Library Favorite Memories
by Mr. Rayshawn
There are some things I’ll never forget about this place
Specifically this year
Not always having a smile on my face
But always being filled with cheer
It’s sad that we have to leave
But summer time has arrived
I’ll never forget the smiling white teeth
Of all the happy children, and even those who cried
We did many fun activities throughout
Like LEGOs and snap circuits
I remember when science people came with an owl
And when we worked with tangrams, it was hard to get
Sure I remember all the candy and the prizes and such

But I remember and appreciate the bonds we made very much

2.      I remember when we made rainbows with paper mosaic tiles-it was the most fun we’d had in I’d say a little while.
3.      I remember when we made our own light-up North Stars—there wasn’t a more beautiful library window than ours.
4.      I remember our paper airplane races with science and strategy—so many winners, engineering prodigies.
5.      I remember making catapults with popsicle sticks and bands, sending puff balls high with our little machines and hands.
6.      I remember Apples to Apples with its very silly song—you might think there’s something better but I’m sure you would be wrong.
7.      I remember every Lego Day, making homes and pools and churches—then they sent us more Legos, a very smart purchase!
8.      I remember building snap circuits, with their fan and birthday chime—kids building independently, every single time!
9.      I remember making New Years posters, full of hope and fun—holiday cookies too for a sticky everyone!
10.  I remember Origami days, folding stockings, dreidels, and stars—there never was a library more excellent than ours!

Children's Bill of Rights

The right s I think should exist
By Misa Guess
Amendment  1
The first right I think should exist is if one person ruins things for others by
having bad behavior or doing bad things should have to handle the
consequences instead of everyone else handling the consequences.
Amendment  2
I think children should not have behavior grades because the teaches say this every time you come to school to learn, so shouldn’t report cards have things about learning not behavior right ? Behavior should be only be discussed when students try or start to get physical with their teachers .
Amendment  3
I think store taxes shouldn’t exist because sometimes kids go to stores with money thinking they have enough then BOOM! there are taxes and kids can’t buy what they want or need, sometimes taxes are the start of child hunger and world hunger. END TAXES !
Amendment  4
I think uniforms shouldn’t exist, people say uniforms exist to stop bullying and other things but ,being a kid and all I know that even if kids wear uniforms they still get bullied  about their clothing. Uniforms shouldn’t exist because kids who can’t express themselves because of parents  or friends should be able to express themselves  by being able to wear regular  clothing instead of boring plain clothing.

Children’s Bill Of Rights :D

Amendment I [Words], If the parent ever want/need curse then don’t do it in front of a children. It’ll just make them say it when they’re adults.

Amendment II [Respect}, If a children or a teenager ever talked to an adult while doing stuff they’re not suppose to do then… um… uh… Hmm… Um… don’t slap them :/ But you should actually um… Make them stay home xD

Amendment III [Sharing Is Caring], If a store’s value ever runs out and someone wants it. Make the other person that bought the last one share equally to the person that was so close to buying one!

Amendment IV [Kindness], Like some of my good friends would say, “They should lower the prices for the homeless people.” I actually agree with that so much. Only one reason, I like Old People D:

Amendment V [Friends], If you made friends with someone then like a few years later they said that you are not they’re friend? You’ll be sad so. If you made friends with someone you HAVE to keep it that way :D

Amendment VI [Respect], if someone wants to know the reason why you did such a thing and mid talk they stop you, it’s disrespectful. Just let the poor guy talk. You want to know the reason right? Then just let ‘em.
Amendment VII [Use Yourself], you know that your parents tell you to like, Here Go Buy Me Chips, or Can You Go Downstairs and Get It? Like PARENTS!! You’re adults. Use your legs and arms. They aren’t there for being a human. It’s to survive.
Amendment VIII [Equal], some schools may have high price but when you get the first day, you don’t get as much education like your parent wanted then they’ll have to do Amendment I.
Amendment IX [Respect], you know when a poster was there and it looks exciting. You try to read it from a far. BAM someone goes right in front of the poster. Like… I was there before you! It isn’t fair >:(
Amendment X [Animal Killer], when baby animals were just born. A farmer comes and kill it. They didn’t even have a day to live it’s just like Yay we got more food. One Minute Later, We have no more food! Yay…

P.S. Meow.

Peace and prosperity

Things of a rarity

Things of which you should share with me

Act in unity

Join in your community

Cook the beef until it bakes

Wont bend

Never break

You knock me down the more I get back up

You shut me up the more I’m going talk

You take from me

The more I’m getting back

The more peace we have

The more we can take a nap

Our happiness is valued

Our smiles are treasured

The time we get to spend enjoying ourselves

Should be priority

Shake off the violence

Make peace everywhere majority
